Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

No. This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, tracking pixels, web beacons or similar technologies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Embedded videos. Some pages embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com, operated by Google Ireland Limited). When such a page loads, your browser connects to YouTube's servers; according to YouTube, information is stored in your browser only once you play a video. This processing is governed by YouTube's privacy policy.

Network data on the home page. The home page shows the latest block and the number of validators of Camino Network. To do so, your browser sends a request directly to the public Camino Network RPC endpoint (api.camino.network). The request carries no personal data beyond what any web request carries, such as your IP address, and sets no cookies.

External links. This website links to other websites, such as the wallet, the explorers, the documentation, GitHub and social networks. When you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that website applies.

Is your information transferred internationally?

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which serves it through a global content delivery network (CDN). Pages are delivered from the server closest to you, which may be located outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area.

We will take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable law.

How long do we keep your information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 2 years.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

What are control mechanisms for do-not-track-features?

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice a revised version of this privacy policy.
